My life in TDT

     Hi everyone, I am Sara. I feel happy that I can share some feelings with you guys about the life in our TDT family. As one of my friends recommended me with TDT enthusiastically, I started to join the big family at the beginning of this year, so I have been in here for about 3 months.

After these three months’ learning, I feel that I have made an effective progress with my English skill.  The most important thing is that I can use English to speak with others without worries. At the pass time, I always worried about my pronunciation, my grammar and my intonation in English; so every time I meet with some foreigners, my face turned red and could not express myself. I have no confidence. But after this learning period, I found that the crews can understand what I mean even I only speak some words instead of a whole sentence. They let me know that the communication is not very hard to accomplish and I can have the ability to communicate with foreigners. Now, I can do much better than before with the spoken English. When I talked with my crews and my foreign colleagues, I felt much more relax.  But I think next step I should try to train myself to speak the complete sentences. Then I can be more perfect to use English as my daily language.

Other thing I gained is the listening skill. I tried my best to listen what the teachers said on every class or activity and I also listen some English materials and see some American movies after the class and activity. Currently, I can catch what the crews said though they speak a little more quickly. I think hard training is the best way to improve the listening English.

During these three months, besides learning I also meet a lot of lovely American English learners who like me and some friendly crews. And I made friend with some of them.  There are two crews gave me a deep impress. They were my crew during the activities at the most of time: Clemon and Danny.

Clemon is an active guy and he is one of the full-time crew. He always let the class or activity become funny and makes effort to help us learn and speak English very efficiently. I think he has his own way to show how to let the students learn language through an easy and relax way.

Danny is another friendly crew who I meet in TDT. He is a very kind guy and he always guides us to think on the activity.  I feel a good teacher is the one who can let the students to think by themselves not just give his own thoughts to the learners. Danny is this kind of the crew.

I also meet a lot of kind learners in TDT. They are from different cities and do different jobs but everyone here is friendly and accommodating, let me feel that TDT is a large and warm family.

I like the life in TDT and I will enjoy the rest time in our TDT family. I hope everyone can have a good time like me here. Thank you very much.
