I attended the Talk online class on April 14 2009. At first class I enjoyed the English courses by foreign teacher. The foreign teacher is very interesting in the class. He has good skills on teaching English. The course topic of my first class is “time and date”. At the first I think, this topic is easy for me but I find there are some new words in the simple sentence. The teacher asked me “why did you want to study English”, I told him “My English level both writing and oral are very poor. I want to improve it for my job. I need English skills both writing and oral in my daily work. My boss is an American. We have a meeting every week, in the meeting my boss speaks English to every department manager and every department manager reports their work to my boss in English also. In the meeting every department manager report their work with fluent oral English, just me speaks English very slowly and poor. So I want to improve my English level quickly. Fortunately, my boss tells me “Tony don’t worry, although your English level is poor but your have rich HR management experience and skills and we believe that you have the ability to study it.” This is reason why I want to study English, but I am 52 years old, and studying English is very hard for me. I will catch every chance to improve my English level”. If I study English very hard, I think it will improve my English quickly.

加入到Talk Online是2009年4月14日的事。也是我第一次参加由外籍教师上的课程。那个老师非常有趣，而且他有很棒教学经验！起先我以为我的第一节课“时间和日期”会非常简单，但当我看到一些简单句里的生词时，我改变了我的想法。老师问我，“为什么你要学习英文？”我说，“因为我需要为了我的工作尽快的去提高我的口语和写作能力。而且我的老板是一个美国人，每周我们都要和老板一起会议，更要命的是我们在会议当中还要用英文给老板报告自己的工作进度，而且只有我不能很流利地说出来，这确实让我很不爽！不过很幸运的是，我的老板告诉我，‘Tony，别担心，尽管你的英文现在不好，但是你在HR管理方面有很丰富的经验，而且我相信你有这个能力可以把英文学好！’”这就是我学习英文的目的，不过我已经52岁了，学英文对我来说还是有困难的。不过我会抓住任何机会来提高自己的英文能力，因为我始终相信，只要我肯努力，我一定能够以最快的速度达到我提升英文能力的目标!
